Abstract Expression with Artful Reflection

Discuss and work on painting style and fundamentals of building up an abstract painting. Explore in depth color selections and options to create a range of impact from subtle to bold.

Pen and Ink Class
Tuesday evenings, 6-8pm
February 3, 10, 17, 24; March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st.
Cost: $120 per month for 4 classes each month for non SageBrusher members, $108 for members of SageBrushers

Beginning through intermediate students are welcome to this fun and skill enhancing class. It will be lead in a friendly cooperative workshop format. we will discuss, paper types, pen types and ink choices. We will cover how to create the illusions of distance and shadow using pen and ink. Pen and Ink is basically line drawing so lithographs, drawings and underdrawings of masters will be studied for inspirational technique. You may wish to bring your own object, photograph, or print to work from.
